A Bright Idea, “Hire our students!”
The 2024 winner of the AAMI Bright Ideas award is Professor James Linton, who has a great, but simple idea: “hire our students!” Professor Linton joined us in the AAMI Studio with former St. Clair student Kathleen Beach to discuss the shortage of HTM professionals, and how the ongoing work at St. Clair is creating a flow of new talent for the HTM and clinical engineering fields.

It's really great to see leaders in the CMMS industry coming together to help HTM professionals standardize data collection techniques. These standards will create a large number of value and quality/safety improvements with no notable downsides. They will also open many opportunities for data mining and evidence based maintenance. Bravo.
So....may I soak my 3m N95 in 80 degree farenhieght temp water? IF so for how long before the mask degrades? I work on the front line and have been given ONE mask for who knows how long??
